How to Plan a Week of Meals Without Cooking Every Day
A food week rarely falls apart on Sunday. It falls apart on Tuesday night, in front of an empty fridge. Here is how to plan ahead.

Most people start the week with good intentions: eat well, skip the random takeaway. Then Tuesday evening arrives, after a long day at work, the fridge is empty, and the easiest choice is whichever restaurant answers first. The problem is not willpower. The problem is that there is no plan.
Why does a week of eating fall apart?
Because the decision is made again every day, at the worst possible moment: when you are hungry and tired. The fix is to decide once a week, when you have time to think.
Step one: count the meals you actually need
Before choosing what to eat, count how often you eat at home or at work:
- How many work lunches? (say, 5 days)
- How many dinners at home? (say, 4 evenings, because one night you eat out)
- Is anyone else at home eating with you?
Example: 5 lunches + 4 dinners = 9 meals. That number is the backbone of the whole plan.
Two realistic options
Cook once a week (meal prep): shop, cook a big batch and split it into boxes. It is usually cheaper, but it takes a good part of your day off between shopping, cooking and washing up, and by day three the same dish gets boring.
Ready meals delivered: no shopping, no cooking, and every meal lists its calories and protein. It costs more than cooking at home, but you save the time and know exactly what you are eating.
Many people combine the two: ready meals for the busy days, simple cooking at the weekend.
Fitting it around Sunday and Wednesday deliveries
🚚 Every Sunday and Wednesday. Sunday orders close Friday 14:00; Wednesday orders close Monday 14:00.
The simplest approach is to split the week in two: the Sunday order covers Sunday to Tuesday, the Wednesday order covers Wednesday to Saturday. Food never sits in the fridge all week, and you can adjust the second order based on what you liked in the first.
What does a meal cost?
The more meals you order, the lower the price per meal. The base price is ₪44.90 per meal, going down to ₪38.61 per meal from 18 meals. Delivery is ₪39 per order, with a ₪10 surcharge for some towns.
| Meals | Discount | Per meal |
|---|---|---|
| 1–6 | No discount | ₪44.90 |
| 7–9 | 5% | ₪42.66 |
| 10–17 | 11% | ₪39.96 |
| 18+ | 14% | ₪38.61 |
So the 9 meals from the example, in one order, already reach the first discount. Full details are on the pricing page. If you order every week, the monthly plan gives up to 14% off, depending on how many meals you take each week.
Small habits that make a difference
- Rotate your protein: chicken, beef, fish. The same taste every day is the fastest way to abandon a plan.
- Add vegetables or fruit on the side. Harvard's Healthy Eating Plate suggests filling half the plate with vegetables and fruit.
- Keep meals in the fridge and follow the date and heating instructions on the pack.
- Leave one "free" evening each week. A realistic plan beats a perfect one that breaks.
How to start this week
Count your meals, pick the delivery day that suits you, and try one week only. The week of meals without cooking page has meals chosen for exactly this, and the menu lists calories and protein for every meal. Not sure we deliver to you? Check the delivery areas.
